Once we return to our offices, the role will require occasional travel to the London office as the UK Design team and partners are distributed across both sites.
OUR PRODUCT DESIGN PHILOSOPHY AT CAPITAL ONE:
Using a human-centred approach, we create intuitive, enjoyable experiences that take the stress out of finance and make credit simple.
Product Design is a multi-disciplinary vertical comprising UX, UI and Content.
Designers partner with Product and Engineering within a Tribes model.
Each Tribe owns its own roadmap, commercials and a customer-facing agenda.
Our UX Designers advise and work alongside tribe leadership and hold the reigns of the product experience for our mobile app, web servicing and agent experience.
They work embedded with engineering teams using Agile delivery, co-creating and optimising our product experience continuously.
UI Design leads act as guardians of our brand experience, ensuring the continuity and consistency of our design language.
Our Content leads enable us to craft language that builds trust, removes ambiguity and allows us to maintain our values of simplicity even when dealing with complex financials.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
